Detailed Minnesota Vikings Tailgate Guide

August 25, 2023 by

Minnesota Viking fans are known for their dedication to tailgating despite the cold weather. If you’re a Vikings fan ready to deck out in purple and gold and scream “SKOL” at every chance you get, keep reading.

Because the US Bank Stadium is in an urban area, tailgating spaces are limited and fans have to seek other spots. Therefore, in this blog, we detail Minnesota Vikings tailgate rules, parking, off-site Vikings tailgating, and more. We also include how to get cheap Minnesota Vikings tickets with no hidden fees.

Also, check out our Minnesota Vikings seating chart to help you navigate US Bank Stadium.

Where are the Minnesota Vikings Tailgate Lots?

Since the US Bank Stadium is in an urban area, there aren’t a lot of Vikings parking options as is. Therefore, lots designated for tailgating are even more rare. Thankfully, you can easily find parking at many of the private lots surrounding the stadium.

If you are looking to head to an official Vikings tailgate at US Bank Stadium, keep reading. You can enjoy Vikings tailgating at all three parking lots at US Bank Stadium. You heard that right…three. Below you’ll find a US Bank Stadium parking map where you can tailgate in the Purple Lot, Gold Lot, and Quarterback Lot. Keep in mind these are usually limited to season-long permit holders.

Thankfully, the Minnesota Vikings offer other on-site tailgating options that don’t include fighting for a parking spot. We’ll go into detail below.
