Pearl Jam have announced a 12-city October U.S. tour, following a summer trek to Europe, that includes an appearance  at Austin City Limits Music Festival. Seattle native rock legends Pearl Jam took the road in the fall last year as well, promoting their new LP Lightening Bolt. Since the band’s inception in 1990, Pearl Jam has become a key part of the Seattle grunge explosion. Together, lead singer Eddie Vedder, guitarists Stone Gossard and Mike McCready, and bassist Jeff Ament, have sold over 31 million records. Pearl Jam tickets, though expensive, will be one of the best concert decisions you make in a year. Last year, frontman Eddie Vedder said in an interview with Rolling Stone: “I say this in the least-competitive way possible, but we’re trying to make not just the best Pearl Jam record, but just the best record,” the singer said. Coming from almost any other rock band, this would sound pretty conceited, but a band like Pearl Jam deserves that kind of claim. When it comes to putting on a show, Pearl Jam has continuously outdone themselves over the years.
