Like other football stadiums, the Eagles stadium sets up a spot for game day fun with pregame activities. It’s a great option for those who don’t want to haul coolers and chairs to the game. Here, Eagles fans enjoy restaurants, bar options, and TVs for a more luxurious tailgating experience. Just look for statue of Smokin’ Joe Frazier.

Unofficial Philadelphia Eagles Tailgating

Because of how popular Eagles tailgating is, you can hardly call these spots “unofficial.” Right by the stadium, there are some epic Eagles tailgating lots that give a true game day experience. We’ll detail them below.

Jetro Lot

This lot is notorious amongst diehard Eagles fans. It’s located in the parking lot at the Jetro Cash & Carry store across the street from the Line. Hardcore Eagles fans tend to favor this lot since it’s not on official stadium grounds and the party can get extra rowdy.

Well Fargo Center Lot

Technically, this is the parking area for the arena where the 76ers play. But Eagles fans fill it up on football game day. It’s located beneath the cover of an off-ramp. The Wells Fargo Center Lot is known for its section fans call “Beer, Wine, and Spirits.” Keep in mind this tailgate area gets very packed and opens at 8 a.m. on Sunday day games with spots filling up right away.

FDR Park

This lot is known for its beautiful scenery in the park. It’s also the most family-friendly tailgating spot for Eagles games. However, during the pandemic it closed and it isn’t a guarantee it will continue on this season. Just make sure to check ahead of time.

Philadelphia Eagles Bars

Heading to a bar is not a bad idea when “tailgating” for an Eagles game. Philly is full of fans ready to cheer on their team. Some local bars to head to include Philadium, Fireside Tavern, SouthHouse, Lucky 13 Pub, and “proud partner of the Philadelphia Eagles” Chickie’s & Pete’s.
