So this article was just released on BleacherReport. 30 unique stadiums across the country, and they narrow the 5 best down to New York, Texas, L.A., Boston, and San Francisco. The original article makes some claims that a number of the commenters disagree with. A lot of the author’s claims about which stadiums are “America’s Best” have nothing to do with the actual stadiums. Take the author’s reasoning for putting SafeCo field in Seattle at number 25, “the Mariners might be the single most boring team to watch in baseball. The tickets are also more expensive than a 70-win team should charge”. Nothing, literally nothing that indicates why SafeCo should be ranked that low among the list.
How could you have a list of the best ballparks in America and keep Camden Yards and PNC Bank Park in the middle of the pack while The BallPark in Arlington rounds out the top 4? It makes close to no sense. Also, it’s pretty interesting to note that the author is a noted Angels fans. Angels stadium is number one and Dodgers Stadiums somehow falls to the bottom of the pack? Hmmm now its starting to make some sense.
Tell me in the comments below, where you think you’re home team’s stadium should rank among the field.
And for MLB Tickets, click on any of the stadium below.
