Red Bull Announces Chicago and Atlanta Music Festivals | Lineup, Tickets, and More
The Red Bull Music Festival—a world-traveling series of music education and performances—is renown for being at the forefront of culture. Before masses of fans have caught onto a musician, the Red Bull Music Festival has hosted them to perform at one of several events that occur each year beneath the Academy. Artists such as FKA Twigs and Rosalía are just two of many musicians who’ve been selected by Red Bull to showcase their burgeoning talent.
This year, the Red Bull Music Academy is bringing back their Chicago festival, in addition to launching one in Atlanta. The events are scheduled to take place throughout November, with a number of incredible acts on the dock.
The debut Red Bull Music Festival Atlanta will stretch from November 1-15. Red Bull Atlanta will feature Teyana Taylor—who will be bringing her House of Petunia show to Georgia—in addition to Zaytoven, Yung Baby Tate, Ari Lennox, BbyMutha, and more.
Then, the festival will touch down in Chicago from November 17-30. Amongst the list of performers is Windy City native Lupe Fiasco, who perform his debut 2006 album Food & Liquor in full. Tierra Whack is scheduled for her first Chicago show. Saba and the Pivot Gang will hold the John Walt Day charity benefit. And Jamila Woods will perform her Legacy! Legacy! Unfolded show.

Festival Highlights
In Atlanta, a must-see for those taking attending the Red Bull Music Festival is the free gallery of portraits by acclaimed photographer Gunner Stahl. “Stahl has made a name for himself shooting portraits of Lil Uzi Vert, Future, Young Thug, A$AP Rocky and many more. His candid, perpetually honest style of photography has been an essential document of the current age of rap music, providing a behind the scenes look at both the larger than life moments and the more intimate ones — think Lil Uzi Vert hanging out with a tiny monkey or the A$AP Mob memorializing the life of their manager A$AP Yams.” –Courtesy of Red Bull Music Academy
In Chicago, fans have the opportunity to celebrate the 50th Anniversary for one of the city’s music landmarks: the Gramaphone 50 Record Store. How? With an all-night, multi-venue takeover by an iconic, genre-spanning lineup. Steve “Silk” Hurley, Derrick Carter, Ron Trent, Mark Farina, Colette, DJ Heather, JR of the Molemen, G Most, Jesse De La Pena, Justin Aulis Long, DJ Psycho-Bitch, Hector Lopez, Garrett David, and more are set to honor the Gramaphone 50’s indelible impact on Chicago’s music scene.
