Stephen Curry Clinches the Series in Memphis
Stephen Curry, the 2014-15 NBA MVP and gunner-in-chief for the Golden State Warriors has often been credited as having “range for days” on his jump shot. In Friday night’s series clincher over the Memphis Grizzlies, the guard showed as much in the literal sense.
With time expiring in the third quarter, Andre Iguodala made a defensive stop on Memphis swingman Jeff Green. With the basketball loose on the floor and the buzzer about to sound, Curry secured the ball and launched it from 70-feet out from the basket.
Much like the Grizz in the series, the shot was sunk by the Warrior’s superstar.
Next up for Curry and company is the winner of the Houston Rockets/L.A. Clippers showdown. If Curry continues to make shots like this, Golden State’s next destination could be the NBA Finals!
