If you are an Electronic Dance Music enthusiast or the occasional EDM listener, you know of the massive following that the Swedish House Mafia carries with them, and if your not, we highly suggest you hop on the bandwagon and take a listen before it’s too late. The dynamic Trio consisting of Steve Angello, Axwell, and Sebastian Ingrosso have been playing together since 2005 and are planning on bringing the infamous “Swedish House Mafia” name to an end after their “One Last Tour” starting in November. These beat creators and synthesizer manipulators will be traveling from as far as Dubai to Los Angeles, making stops along the way at nearly every continent. Their highly anticipated shows in New York City will be taking place at the famous Madison Square Garden as well as the brand new Barclays Center.

Together, the Swedish House Mafia are known for their major hits such as “Miami 2 Ibiza”, “One”, “Save the World”, “Antidote”, and their newest hit “Don’t You Worry Child”, featuring vocals by a fellow Swede, John Martin. But individually, each is equally as successful with their solo careers. Steve Angello has produced many different hits, most popularly known for his remix of the popular disco tune, “Show Me Love” by Robin S. Earlier this year, Axwell’s remix to Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl’s “In My Mind” became a highly successful club anthem. Sebastian Ingrosso has also been busy making moves with the creation of his own record label “Refune”.  Sebastian recently collaborated with Australian artist, Tommy Trash on their newest hit “Reload” which was released early last week. Together, the Trio recently teamed up with Absolut Vodka to promote their newest product “Absolut Greyhound”. SHM created the soundtrack to the commercial all while creating another hit called “Greyhound” which was featured in the Absolut Greyhound commercial.

The Swedish House Mafia have been known to put on amazing visual and musical performances delivering massive amounts of bass frequencies and synthesized melodies their fans crave. They have played for audiences on massive scales comparable to Justice and Daft Punk who are thought of to be the fathers of the Electronic Dance Music scene. News of their impending breaking up left fans devastated, and makes their final embarkment on their, “One Last Tour” stand that much more meaningful.

Just to give an idea of how highly anticipated their New York shows will be, in 2011, the SHM show at Madison Square Garden sold out in less than 9 minutes.  Because of the rapid rate in which these tickets disappeared, many fans were left ticketless. The Trio, not to disappoint, decided to play another show the following day in NYC for their fans, which promptly sold out just as fast.

Next year, Swedish House Mafia will be playing 4 final shows in NYC from March 1st 2013 – March 4th 2013. Tickets are still available for sale and bidding is still available right here. Get em’ now before it’s too late!
