How much does it cost to protect my TickPick purchase with Event Ticket Protector?

The cost of insurance is 5.75% of your total TickPick purchase (with a minimum of $6.99 per ticket), which includes FedEx shipping costs when applicable. So if you’re purchasing two $50 tickets to a New York Knicks game for a total of $100, insurance would cost $13.98.

If you choose to purchase insurance, you will see two charges: one from TickPick and one from Allianz Global Assistance. You will also receive a separate email from Allianz Global Assistance that includes your plan documents.

What Does allianz insurance protect me From and why would i want it?
