TickPick Reviews | Is TickPick Legit?

Hi, my name is Brett Goldberg, and I’m the Co-CEO of TickPick, the world’s first and only ticket resale marketplace without any service fees. Part of the reason my co-founder and I created TickPick back in 2011 is due to very poor user experiences I used to go through while buying sports tickets. In my opinion, the ticketing industry as it used to be wasn’t good enough, and in the process of correcting what I felt to be wrong with the ticket industry, TickPick was created. The saying goes, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” but in this case, some serious fixing needed to be done.

I’m embarrassed to say this, but I’ve purchased “fake” tickets in the past (though not from TickPick). But as the co-founder of TickPick, this type of experience is a useful one to have, as it helps my team and I understand how the consumer feels while buying tickets online at Stubhub, Vivid Seats, Seatgeek, etc., and we know it can be nerve-wrecking. In the case of Brett and the fake tickets, it can also be embarrassing. These feelings are exactly the reason our company strives to operate as it does: quickly, transparently, and with a BuyerTrust Guarantee.

If you’re using TickPick, you’ll never have to think twice about whether you’re buying legitimate tickets at the best price – You are.

Because we think like most of our fans and users, we understand the caution that customers exercise before trusting a website from which they’ll purchase tickets. So, if you’re still unsure whether or not buying tickets on TickPick or online in general is safe, you’ve come to the right place. Because we want to have complete transparency with our customers, we’ve compiled and summarized various TickPick reviews from all over the internet. The good, the not so good—it’s all there. And by taking just a quick glance, you’ll see some stand-out reasons as to why our customers love us, with the following being the main reasons:
  1. “No hidden fees”: this means our tickets are often cheaper than our competitors
  2. “Great technology”: we use algorithms to help customers find the best deals
  3. “Helpful customer support”: situations will inevitably occur, but the way in which they’re handled is what matters.

While reviewing TickPick, keep in mind that we’ve been in business for over eight years now, and in those that time, we’ve managed to stick to our guns, as well as uphold our guarantees.

Our BuyerTrust Guarantee

Here at TickPick, we have a 100% BuyerTrust Guarantee on all tickets purchased through our site. This guarantees that your tickets will be valid, authentic, and that you will receive them with ample time before the event. If any issues with your tickets should ever occur, we’ll work to replace them with tickets of equal or greater value, and if an event is cancelled, we’ll provide a full refund. If the event is postponed or rescheduled, the previously-purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date. The support team at TickPick has one goal in mind, and it’s to make sure that they do everything they can in order to uphold this guarantee in a very timely manner.

The Sellers on TickPick

Before any user is allowed to list their tickets for sale on TickPick, our team thoroughly vets them – no matter how large or small the sellers is – in order to ensure that they’re selling legitimate and valid tickets on our site.

Our dedicated seller relations team consistently monitors TickPick’s inventory for honesty, integrity, and fairness. If sellers at any point don’t abide by our standards, then quick action will be taken to ensure that buyers won’t see their tickets listed on TickPick, and that these sellers won’t be able to list tickets for sale on our site moving forward.

TickPick’s Google Reviews

As the world’s most popular webpage, Google is a prime spot for consumers to leave reviews on all different types of business and products. As of November 26th, 2019, we have 213 reviews on Google, with a 4.4 star rating (for reference, competitors of ours like StubHub and SeatGeek are rated 2.8 and 2.9, respectively).

On the few rare negative reviews, we’ve made it a point to respond. By addressing what went wrong or needed to be resolved at the time of the customer leaving the review, we were able to connect with the customers in a way that most secondary ticket marketplaces fail to do. Even though our history involving millions of transactions over the years has seen a few issues here and there, we always look to accept responsibility for it – no matter the situation – and learn from our mistakes every day.

We also consistently monitor these comments to get a feel for what the consumer desires. For example, a few years back, we eliminated all fees for electronic ticket download, a complaint voiced on only a few occasions. But when you speak, we listen.

  1. Mark – I can’t remember exactly what happened 2 years ago with your order, but if you reach out to us and I’ll personally see to it that we take good care of you for the trouble you went through. A lot has changed in 2 years and we have added a ton of automation to make sure that what happened to you is not the norm. Thanks!

  2. “This was our first use of tickpick and it all worked out great. We were very nervous about venturing into the world of re-seller tickets and all of the information the website provided about how they work and how the security worked really helped give us a sense of confidence about the process. The end result was great tickets at a fair price and an awesome concert. Will definitely use the service again.”

  3. Awwwwwwful place to buy tickets!!!!!!! Don’t do it! Stay away! They charged me 70 dollars tickets and when the tickets arrived to my house they were only 31dollars! They are a rip off!!!!

I uploloaded pictures of how much I payed verses how much these tickets were. So, sadden by how they run their business. Just terrible!

    • Hi there – TickPick is a secondary ticket marketplace where tickets can be sold above or below face value, depending on demand for the event. We try to make this as clear as possible, and even require all customers to check off a box at the checkout page alerting them of this fact before allowing a purchase to be processed.

Our lack of service fees make our tickets the cheapest on the secondary market. We take a 10% commission from the sellers who post tickets for sale, so in this particular case we made $7. I apologize if you were confused about the nature of our services and if you have any additional questions feel free to contact us at 845-538-4567.
