Tyler, the Creator Shares “Rose Tinted Cheeks”

It hasn’t even been a year since Odd Future rapper Tyler, the Creator dropped Flower Boy, a seasoned effort featuring the likes of Frank Ocean, Kalis Uchis, A$Ap Rocky, Jaden Smith, and more. But 2018 may turn out to be yet another big year for Tyler, as he’s already begun dropping new music.

Back in March, Tyler, the Creator shared “OKRA“, with little explanation. The loosie was shortly followed by a remix of Trouble and Drake’s “Bring It Back”. Now, Tyler has shared “Rose Tinted Cheeks“, which includes a reference to the movie 20th Century Women. Check out “ROSE TINTED CHEEKS *rough draft*” below.

He explained on Twitter, “Back when working on [Flower Boy], it was a song I never finished or went back to.” He added, “I’ve had in laying around and figured I just put it out as the demo/ rough draft it is. Not really mixed or anything.” The lyrics “rose-tinted cheeks” eventually made it onto Flower Boy’s “See You Again,” one of the album’s strongest tracks featuring Kali Uchis.

Tyler, the Creator has been seen on a number of tracks since dropping Flower Boy, namely Kali Uchis’ “After the Storm” and Frank Ocean’s “Biking”. Will Tyler, the Creator drop a new album in 2018? We think it’s likely. At the very least, we doubt we’ll go the rest of the year without seeing at least a couple more Tyler, the Creator singles. The Odd Future rapper will be performing at a number of music festivals this Summer. Check out Tyler, the Creator tickets below.
