Will Megan Thee Stallion Tour ‘Traumazine’ in 2023?

Megan Thee Stallion fans, aka Thee Hotties, finally received the Houston native’s new LP in August 2022 when she dropped her 18-track studio album Traumazine. The record—which includes some of Megan’s best lyrics to date—featured Rico Nasty, Future, Jhene Aiko, and more.

Megan Thee Stallion’s Traumazine aimed to take back control of her life’s narrative since 2020’s Good News. In an interview with HipHopDX, Megan discussed what it was like to channel the unsaid, and the anger that comes with it, into her latest.

“I don’t write songs about how I feel, I write songs about how I want to feel,” Meg said. “So I feel like on this album, it’s probably the first time I figured out how to talk about what I want to say… express myself a little bit more. So that’s just how I’ve been living life.”

The last time Megan Thee Stallion went on tour, in the U.S, was with support from Meek Mill and Future on 2019’s “Legendary Nights” Tour. This year, Megan was one of several openers featured along Dua Lipa’s “Future Nostalgia” Tour.

When was the last time Megan Thee Stallion went on a headlining tour? If you can believe it, Megan’s first headlining tour has yet to come. Since 2019, Hot Girl Meg has mostly toured sporadically through Europe and the U.S. She never quite strung together a headlining tour big enough to amount to her fame.

This summer, Megan has been very busy on the summer music festival circuit. Most recently, the HTX rapper performed an iconic set at HARD Summer. Megan will continue performing music festivals abroad with Japan’s Summer Sonic and the UK’s Leeds Festival. Though she’s been on the road consistently since reaching this level of fame, we have yet to see the full-scale Megan Thee Stallion Tour we’ve been waiting for.

When will Megan Thee Stallion tour her new album?

2022 was a huge year for Megan Thee Stallion. In addition to releasing Traumazine, Megan served as both SNL host and guest, performed the 2022 Oscars, starred in a Cheetos Super Bowl commercial, and made countless other awards ceremony appearances. She was in our periphery, giving style and grace, and so many looks.

In a Forbes profile written late last year, Megan Thee Stallion teased what she’s got cooking up for 2023. Not only is Megan Thee Stallion releasing new music in 2023, the album is slated to arrive with a world tour.

“I can’t slow down right now,” she told Forbes. “I’ll take a break when I’m dead. I’m trying to really build something. When I start sitting, I feel like I’m not doing enough or I’m giving somebody else the opportunity to pass me.”

So far, Megan Thee Stallion only has one show scheduled for 2023: a headlining set at Outside Lands Music Festival in San Francisco, CA. We think Megan Thee Stallion will begin her 2023 world tour around the time of her Outside Lands performance, sometime, in the thick of summer.
