Adidas Recreates Andrew Wiggins’ NBA Draft Night Duds

The 2014 NBA Draft looked to be one for the ages. With potential superstars like Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker and Joel Embid at the top of the draft, many labeled the class of prospects the best to enter the NBA since 2003’s offering of LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

Time will tell whether or not last year’s draft ultimately lives up to the hype, but one thing is certain–on draft night, it was Wiggins that stole the show.

Love it or hate it, there’s no denying that the fashion statement made by Wiggins’ draft night suit spoke just as loudly as the dynamite moves he displayed as a freshman standout for the Kansas Jayhawks. Personally, I loved the crazy design on his blazer–it was a look befitting a future superstar in the Association.

Apparently I’m not the only one.

In honor of the Minnesota Timberwolves star’s flamboyant entrance into the league, Wiggins and sportswear titan Adidas have teamed up to create a shoe that pays homage to the Rookie of the Year’s draft night duds–

I’m not going to lie–these are kind of amazing. Time to ditch the old Yeezy Boosts and snag a pair!
