Boston Celtics Guard Marcus Smart Sinks Crazy Shot
Following his collegiate career with the Oklahoma State Cowboys, Marcus Smart was lauded for his tenacious defense and ability to get to the basket. As for his shooting, well… let’s just say that a sweet jumper was never part of Smart’s arsenal.
With that said, it probably came as no surprise to Boston Celtics fans when the guard connected on less than 37 percent of his shot attempts during his rookie season.
Apparently, all he needed to do to find net was go to mid-court and lay down, flat on his back–

The only word to describe Smart’s summer-time shooting exploits is ridiculous! Who knew that a world-class bricklayer like Smart was capable of such feats.
I might even go so far as to say that this is the craziest thing we’ve seen since Utah Jazz forward Trevor Booker’s insane buzzer-beater against the Oklahoma City Thunder last season–
Smart is currently back in his hometown of Flower Mound, Texas for a basketball camp. If this is the kind of thing he’s teaching the young players, we could be looking at an entirely new brand of NBA basketball in the not-so-distant future.
