Ariana Grande Releases an Official “breathin” Music Video

Though we were fairly contented with watching Piggy Smalls roll around to the background of “breathin”, we are delighted by Ariana Grande’s new, official visuals for the deeply personal Sweetener standout. Considering the tumultuous few years Ariana Grande has been through, we can apply all sorts of meanings behind the meditative banger.

The clip finds Grande moving in slow motion through a trafficked bar, her ability to connect with the scene infringed upon by her own anxiety. Director Hannah Lux Davis weaves in shots of Grande embanked in clouds while dressed in her signature oversized clothes, underlying lingerie, and Rapunzel-esque ponytail.

“breathin” is Grande’s third single from her chart-topping fourth LP, Sweetener, following “No Tears Left to Cry” and “God Is a Woman.” A tour has been set to promote Sweetener, featuring opener Normani. The “Sweetener” Tour will begin March 18th, 2019 in Albany, New York and wraps June 18th, also in New York.
