The Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre has a capacity of 1016 seats and is divided into two sections: Orchestra and Mezzanine. The Mezzanine, the only elevated section of the theater, is broken up into Front and Rear. Though Front and Rear Mezzanine are on the same level, the sections are clearly divided by an aisle.

The Orchestra section at The Jacobs has 19 rows in total, beginning with AA and ending with R. The Orchestra is the biggest section in the theater and is divided up into Right, Center, and Left Orchestra. Left Orchestra seats are odd numbered, from 1 to 27. There are two box seats, marked left boxes, also available at this section. Center Orchestra, the largest, is consecutively numbered from 101 to 114. Right Orchestra is even numbered, from 2 to 28, and also has two box seats available in this section.

Mezzanine at The Jacobs is 420 seats in total. Front Mezzanine consists of 168 seats spread across four rows, A to D. The rows are further divided into three sections, left, center, and right. Rear Mezzanine consists of 252 seats spread across 6 rows, E to K. Front Left Mezzanine seats are odd numbered from 1 to 27, while Front Right Mezzanine seats are even numbered from 2-28. Center Mezzanine seats are consecutively numbered from 101-114.
