Blood Orange Reveals Tracklist for Upcoming LP

British artist Dev Hynes, also known by his stage name Blood Orange, has taken to social media to confirm the track list for his upcoming LP, Negro Swan. Back in February, Hynes released a two-track EP titled Black History, with no word about if the EP would later contribute to a full album.

Last month, Blood Orange unveiled two new tracks and music videos, which are both slated to appear on Negro Swan. “Charcoal Baby” and The Crack Stevens-directed video opens up with a spoken word introduction, centered on the themes of family, community, and acceptance. The hazy, sax and guitar-driven “Jewelry” is a beautiful, spare piece. Hynes croons, “Seek what you need to get by/ Awake with one eye closed/ In dark black clothes/ Red and blue lights on my stone.”
