Made in America is one of the biggest music festivals in the country and is held annually right in the heart of the city of Philadelphia at Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Created by legendary rapper Jay-Z, who curates the lineup each and every year, it always has one of the strongest lineups of any festival that has tended to lean hip-hop heavy in recent years, unsurprising since the God of rap himself is the one making it all happen.

With an incredible lineup and reputation for being one of the best music festivals in the northeast every year, fans who are looking to make it out always have plenty of questions before deciding to buy tickets, so we at TickPick have included important information about Made In America in the blog below.

Made in American 2019 has one of the best lineups in the festival’s eight-year history, with headliners Cardi B and Travis Scott leading the billing. Each of these two artists have had possibly the biggest year of any artists in all of hip-hop, with Scott’s headlining Astroworld tour in support of his Grammy-nominated sophomore album selling out large venues all across North America in one of the highest-grossing tours in recent memory.

Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy won the Grammy for Best Rap Album, just ahead of Astroworld, and she herself had a massive year, breaking through as not only hip-hop’s biggest female artist, but one of music’s most popular artists in general, with multiple chart-topping hits like “Please Me” and ” I Like It.”

What makes this festival so special is that it may be carried by the supporting earlier acts in their totality nearly as much as the headlining ones, with other major acts on the billing like Juice WRLD, Anderson .Paak, James Blake, Kaskade, Jorja Smith, and more.

Does Made In America Have Single Day Tickets?

Most festivals only release full weekend passes – at first.

Once the festival sells out of all of their 2-day passes, Made in America has typically released single day tickets for fans who are only looking to catch a single headliner. These single day passes hit the secondary market and do typically cost more than the price-per-day if you purchase the full weekend pass at once, but if you’re only looking to go for one day or can make it one day, it’s worth saving the money and going with the single day.

Made In America Tickets Sold Out – Now What?

If you weren’t able to secure tickets through any presales or general sales for Made in America, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Tickets can still be purchased from secondary marketplaces, although the prices will not be at face value. With a festival as popular as Made in America, prices are anticipated to be on the higher side, but that doesn’t mean that good deals can’t be had – if you know where to look.
