American Family Field History and Overview
What was once known as Miller Park is now officially American Family Field. The ballpark, home to the Milwaukee Brewers, is at One Brewers Way in Milwaukee, WI.
American Family Field opened in 2001 as a replacement for Milwaukee County Stadium. It boasts North America’s only fan-shaped roof, which can open and close in less than 10 minutes. American Family Field has a capacity of 41,900 and a record attendance of 46,218.
American Family Field Seat Numbers
The American Family Field seating chart with seat numbers indicates that seat 1 is typically located closer to the lower-numbered adjacent section. For example, seat 1 in section 129 would be closest to the highest numbered seat in section 128.
Typically, the best seats are closer to the home plate. Going by that logic, if you’re on the left-field line, you’d want a seat with a lower seat number, and on the right-field line, you’d look for a higher seat number. (So remember, don’t think of seat and row numbers as the same thing.)
Milwaukee Brewers Best Seats
The best seats for a Milwaukee Brewers game are the Diamond Box seats, located in the first 5 rows of the sections surrounding the infield. Any tickets in the field level surrounding the infield are ideal, but 200-300 level infield seats will do you just fine as well.
The bleachers are always a good time to get rowdy at a Brewers game.
Milwaukee Brewers Premium Seats
The Club Seats at American Family Field are located in sections 320-339, which wrap around the infield. The Brewers club seats include a whole wait staff and a full bar behind home plate. Food and drink are not included in these seats.
Milwaukee Brewers Seats in Shade
The roof at American Family Field will be closed in inclement weather, ensuring rain is never an issue. However, if you want to stay out of the sun at a Brewers game, you’ll want to sit on the 1st base side.
Milwaukee Brewers Family Sections
If you are bringing young children to the game, you may want to consider purchasing tickets in the alcohol-free sections at American Family Field, which are located in sections 217, 238, and 417. After all, the team is called the Brewers, so fans in other sections can get quite rowdy for weekend and night games.
Milwaukee Brewers Dugout and Bullpen Locations
The Milwaukee Brewers’ dugout is in front of sections 112-114, and the visitors’ dugout is in front of sections 121-123. The Brewers’ bullpen is in left field, and the visitors’ is in right field.
Covered Seating at American Family Field
Looking for a shady area for a Milwaukee Brewers home game? This section is for you.
Depending on the time of day, shaded seats change. Generally, you can find covered seating at the American Family Field in most sections along the 1st baseline, farther back in one of those sections, or in a row under cover, and in upper deck sections under the cover of the roofing structure.
Several good sunless options are available for early afternoon games at American Family Field. We recommend choosing seats near the bottom of the first baseline, with ample sun protection. Also, seats in sections 404-420 on the upper level, 206-215, and 106-115 on the lower level will have your back facing the sun.
ADA Seating at American Family Field
For wheelchair users and/or those looking to attend a game at Family Field with someone who uses a wheelchair, there is some important information that you’ll want to know. If you’re seeking ADA seating, you’ll find accessible rows at the top of most sections throughout the venue.
If necessary, folding chairs will be provided for guests, such as those who wish to sit with a fan while using a wheelchair. One trick you can use to filter tickets that are ADA accessible is to use our “Additional filters +” button on the event page, which allows you to select “ADA (wheelchair accessible). ” This shows all seats that the seller has marked as accessible seating.
American Family Field Attractions
American Family Field offers more than baseball at Brewers games. In the middle of the 6th inning, the Klement’s Sausage Race occurs, where sausage mascots race around the bases.
The participants include bratwurst, Italian, chorizo, Polish, and hot dog. The Brewers’ Mascot, Bernie Brewer, has a clubhouse over the left seats. After each home run and Brewers victory, Bernie slides down his slide.
