TickPick, the Official Secondary Marketplace of Shaq’s Fun House
Shaquille O’Neal is skilled at more than just basketball. Turns out he’s pretty good at throwing parties too. After putting together the first-ever Shaq’s Fun House at Miami Music Week 2018, his crazy, carnival-style party is making its way to Atlanta for the Super Bowl in February 2019. Celebrity parties at any Super Bowl host city are known for being lavish, extravagant, and packed with VIPs and it sounds like Shaq’s Fun House could be one of the best at this year’s big game!
What Happened At Shaq’s Fun House In Miami?
To give you an idea of just how fun Shaq’s Fun House is, Miami Music Week 2018 is a weeklong electronic dance music event that attracts thousands of artists and attendees from around the world. Well, Shaq’s Fun House was one of the most talked about events of that whole week. That’s how great this party was.
According to ESPN, “Shaq’s Fun House was magical.”
Inspired by his visit to TomorrowWorld Music Festival, Shaq assembled a list of VIP celebs and influencers along with popular DJs, performers, and top talent, including Steve Aoki, Diplo, Nervo, Carnage, Alan Walker, A-Trak, and Cheat Codes to create the perfect party atmosphere. We’re talking ten DJ and smaller side shows too, all in one night. It was an outdoor carnival atmosphere of bars, stages, games, costumed performers, fire breathers, and secret guests in a crazy, whimsical Miami venue.
Vanity Fair said, “This is Shaq’s Brain on Fun.”
Complimentary food was provided by Shake Shack and Krispy Kreme… because who doesn’t love burgers and donuts? There were activities too, like a fantasy cabaret show and carnival games for attendees when they weren’t grooving to Shaq’s incredible lineup of DJs. Big brands like Red Bull, Lyft, Tito’s, Gold Bar Whiskey, Tanqueray, and Fiji all helped sponsor the event. According to Shaq, the party raged on until 8 AM.
And of course, there were celeb appearances. Designer Alexander Wang and Shark Tank’s Daymond John came to party. The Patriots’ Rob Gronkowski turned up, took his shirt off, and had a dance-off with Shaq, jumping on the big man’s shoulders at one point in the evening. Von Miller of the Denver Broncos was there too. The whole night looked like a fantastic dream… straight out of Shaq’s imagination. Don’t believe us though – take a look at a recap of Shaq’s Fun House in Miami:
The Inspiration Behind It
If you thought the Miami edition of Shaq’s Fun House was amazing, just wait until the 2019 Super Bowl in Atlanta. That’s a promise from Shaq himself.
The man is all about fun. The NBA Hall of Famer wants Shaq’s Fun House to be “the best event of all time” so he’s combining two of his biggest passions – sports and music – to make that happen. One thing you may not know about Shaq is that he’s always been into music and, to this day, he actually DJs all over the world to massive crowds. He’s been doing it since the 80s! He loves the adrenaline of rocking the crowd, having fun, and mixing dubstep, trap, and hip-hop music, so obviously, he’s bringing the best in artists, music, and DJs to his party to make it larger than life.
Shaq claims he wants this event to feel as exciting as a “Game 7 of the NBA Finals.” So he’s working with music festival producers to do just that. In a way, he’s created a one-night mini music festival all his own. What’s even better than a non-stop concert on the night before the Super Bowl is the fact that you can expect the fifteen-time NBA All-Star to actually join in on the craziness with you. The man likes to dance and perform. Especially if you saw how much fun he had in Miami…

This year’s lineup at Shaq’s Fun House features Migos, Lil Jon, T-Pain, Diplo, and Tiesto… as well as a performance by the man himself, DJ Diesel, aka Shaq!
Anything else? As you get down with Shaq, you’ll also be doing some good. A portion of each ticket goes to help fund afterschool music programs for underprivileged youth! And of course, Guests must be 21 and older to attend.
“I am so pumped to be taking my Fun House to Super Bowl Weekend. I am going to blend festival, carnival, and circus elements, and I promise you it will be the most FUN party of the year. I can not wait to see you all in Atlanta and perform alongside Diplo, Migos, Tiesto, and many more!”
