Billy Strings
Last year on Sep. 27, the genre-bending Americana musician Billy Strings released his sixth studio album: Highway Prayers. Honoring the new release, Strings announced a run of Winter tour dates which will keep him on the road through later this summer.
Known by some as a “quick-picking prodigy,” Billy Strings has quickly become one of the most well known guitarists on tour today. With an ever-changing sound, ranging from Bluegrass to psychedelic rock, Billy Strings is, without a doubt, one of the most dynamic performers today. Fans can catch Billy Strings on tour from Oct. 18 through Sep. 16. Don’t sleep on getting those Billy Strings tickets, as plenty of dates have already sold out.
Adrianne Lenker
After taking some time to release her solo album Bright Future and go on tour, Adrianne Lenker will reunite with Big Thief for a tour this fall. The band has promised the current “Somersault Slide 360” Tour to be only the beginning of their commitment to the road this year. Fans will have plenty of opportunities to see one of the best living guitarists and songwriters live, in concert, in 2025.
Big Thief concert tickets are going to run high, especially since the band is reuniting for the first time in a few years. But you can always find great deals on TickPick. Don’t miss out on seeing Big Thief perform albums such as Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You, from Sep. 17 through Nov. 7.
Buckethead
Known for his expert, virtuosic guitar playing, the prog-metal instrumentalist Buckethead will be taking his act on tour this summer. Known for his brain-combusting guitar shredding, as well as the KFC bucket that lives on his head, Buckethead has shaped a whole generation of guitar players and listeners. You can find him on tour from June 13 through Dec. 12.
We suggest fans purchase their Buckethead tickets sooner than later. Currently in collaboration with famed bassist Bootsy Collins, we know tickets to see Buckethead are going to climb even higher once the duo drop their long awaited new material. We’re hoping Bootsy Collins pops in for a surprise guest appearance along these new Buckethead tour dates. When it comes to this pair, sky’s the limit.
Umphrey’s McGee
Chicago-based jam band Umphrey’s McGee stay on tour. Truly, this band does not take a breather from the road. But it’s a good thing, considering the Umphrey’s McGee guitarist, Jake Cinninger, is one of the most talented musicians touring today.
The improv-rock band, 24 years running, has taken on several different band member iterations. But this current Umphrey’s McGee lineup may be one of their strongest. Catch Umphrey’s McGee on their massive U.S tour from May 22 through September 22. Though Umphrey’s McGee tickets can run pretty high, we can guarantee fans some of the best prices to attend these shows.
Drive-By Truckers
American rockers Drive-By Truckers, with the ever-astounding Mike Cooley on lead guitar, will be making their way across the U.S this summer. The “Charm and Decadence” Tour will also include performances from the iconic rock band Deer Tick.
Performing mostly “oddball beauties,” according to a write-up in Rig Rundown, Mike Cooley has perfected his eccentric guitar sound. Fans lucky enough to snag Drive-By Truckers tickets are in for a treat. Catch them on the road from May 29 through Aug. 9. The “Charm and Decadence” Tour will also feature support from Thelma and the Sleaze.
Dwight Yoakam
Having recently been awarded the Americana Lifetime Achievement Award, Dwight Yoakam is celebrating with an extensive U.S tour. Known as Country’s “King of Cool,” who heavily revitalized the Bakersfield Sound, Dwight Yoakam is verifiably one of the most influential guitarists of his time. We are glad he’s receiving his flowers, and excited for the sound he brings on tour.
Dwight Yoakam’s latest album, Brighter Days, arrived on Nov. 15 of last year and includes the honky-tonk ballad “I Don’t Know How to Say Goodbye” feat. Post Malone. Catch Yoakam on tour from now through October 1. Dwight Yoakam tickets are selling quickly, but you can still find some great deals on TickPick.
Santana
Though not technically on tour, there is one guitar prodigy playing at the House of Blues in Las Vegas this upcoming Fall. “An Intimate Evening with Santana: Greatest Hits Live” will continue its nine year-long run at the House of Blues. We are glad this legend is still performing. According to concert reviews, Santana’s talent, range, and charisma as a band leader has shown no signs of aging. You can catch Santana at the House of Blues from now through Nov. 16. Check out our inventory of Santana tickets for some great deals.
Proceeds from Santana’s Las Vegas Residency will be donated across two charities, one being Santana’s own The Milagro Foundation, which aims to support underrepresented and vulnerable youth in the areas of arts, education and health. The other is the House of Blues Music Forward Foundation, which “accelerates real-life skills for youth using music as the bridge to success.”
Gary Clark Jr.
This summer, Gary Clark Jr. will be joining The Black Keys on their “No Rain, No Flowers” Tour. The roadtrip will keep Gary Clark Jr. on tour through the end of the summer. Gary Clark Jr. will also perform some solo headlining shows along the way, giving fans several different opportunities to see him live in 2025.
Gary Clark Jr.’s latest album, 2024’s JPEG RAW, included some riling singles such as “Maktub.” His last tour date for this year, so far, is scheduled for Sep. 4 at The Pageant in St. Louis, MO. If you haven’t experienced a Gary Clark Jr. concert, what are you waiting for? We’ve got some great deals on Gary Clark Jr. tickets for his upcoming U.S tour.
