Cardi B and Kehlani have gone platinum blonde in the new visuals for their Invasion of Privacy collab, “Ring“. The electronic trap track is visually drawn with gorgeous, arresting outfits, Cardi bound by telephone wires, and a telephone suspended in what appears to be heaven. Check out the new “Ring” music video below.

It’s been a huge year for Cardi, who released a critically acclaimed debut, toured (briefly) with Bruno Mars, in addition to becoming a mother to Kulture, her daughter with Migos Offset. Last night, Cardi exercised her reign by opening up the 2018 MTV VMA’s.

Jokingly, Cardi held a bundled blanket against her body, leading people to believe she was going to show her daughter’s face for the first time (the couple have been receiving offers upwards of $100k to photograph the child). But to fan disappointment and Offset’s relief, Cardi revealed a Moon Man within the blanket.

Cardi went on to win 3 of 9 categories she was nominated in, one being Best New Artist. The rapper celebrated at Atlantic’s after party and even debuted some new heat for her friends and execs. While interpolating over Shawnna’s “Gettin’ Some Head”, Cardi’s face reads dominance and determination amongst a party of excitedly distracted attendees.

We think Cardi is itching to give her fans new music soon. Last week, Cardi shared via Instagram Live that she wanted to release a new project—10 songs to be exact—on September 1st. Four or five songs have already been completed, as they were previously cut from Invasion of Privacy because they “didn’t make sense” for the album.

Considering how hard Cardi has been working this year, we wouldn’t be surprised if she meets that September 1st deadline, even if it means needing to finish 4 or five songs in two weeks.

So far, Cardi B doesn’t have any scheduled tour dates, but you can catch her this September, headlining at NYC’s Global Citizens Festival.
