Watch Taylor Swift Perform New ‘Reputation’ Songs on SNL
Taylor Swift appeared on SNL for the first time since 2009, just a day after her highly anticipated album Reputation hit shelves and streaming services. There, she delivered her first live performance of the hit single “…Ready For It“, where she confidently sang over the pre-recorded backing track with four dancers behind her.
For her second song, Swift brought out her acoustic guitar to usher in a rendition of the ballad “Call It What You Want“. She was backed by a cellist and four singers for the track which is rumored to be about her ex boyfriends and her feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. In keeping with her snake theme which we’ve seen reverberate throughout Reputation and all of its promotional content, Taylor Swift wore a shirt with reptilian features and sang into a microphone with a snake glinting up its side.
Taylor Swift’s Reputation World Tour, which fans have been clamoring for since the Summer, is finally set to kick off on May 8th @ the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona and conclude October 6th in Dallas.
