Will BTS Tour in 2020? BTS Rumors, 2020 Tour Dates, and More
This is not a drill. BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, have decided to break some incredible news to their fans. The BTS Army is now ecstatic for the potential of 2020, with a new BTS album on the way and a world tour to follow.
In promotion of their Love Yourself album series, BTS embarked on tour which took them to 14 countries, totaling 8 legs and 62 shows. The “Love Yourself” and “Love Yourself, Speak Yourself” World Tours kept BTS on the road from August 25, 2018 – October 29, 2019. And now, not even a year later, BTS has announced that they will in fact be on the road again in 2020.
Initially, the news was broken by their management company Big Hit Entertainment. The company’s opaque and foreboding tweet was immediately assessed by the BTS Army, who found the blurry images of all seven BTS members to be reflected in the background.
In a more recent leak by VIP Nation, it appears that BTS might be embarking on a stadium tour beginning April 25th on the west coast. Check out the leaked, unconfirmed BTS 2020 Tour Dates below.

The forthcoming BTS World Tour will be in promotion of their next album, Map of the Soul: 7. BTS recently teased Map of the Soul: 7 with a trailer featuring the enigmatic and irreplaceable Min Yoongi—stage name Suga—on “Interlude: Shadow.” The song features Suga rapping in Korean, the lyrics expressing the very dichotomy that Yoongi brings to the group.
People say, there’s splendor in that bright light
But my growing shadow swallows me and becomes a monster
Up high, high, and higher, higher / I only go higher, and vertigo overtakes me
I rise, rise. I hate it
I pray, pray, hoping to be OK.
Vulnerable, brash, and bold, “Interlude: Shadow” and the accompanying music video find Suga walking the tightrope of fame. From impassive performance to deep, oft dark reflection on this searing moment of existence, Suga serves as the actor of the band’s incredible yet unrelenting popularity.
Map of the Soul: 7 arrives either this month or next, with exact tour dates to follow. According to the tweet from Big Hit Entertainment, we expect the forthcoming BTS World Tour to launch sometime in April.
BTS Army, stay tuned for now. In the mean time, start memorizing those “Interlude: Shadow” bars for when you see BTS in 2020.
