The Army Black Knights Men’s and Women’s basketball teams represent the United States Military Academy in NCAA Division I basketball and are members of the Patriot League.  Christl Arena is home to the Army Black Knights Men’s and Women’s basketball teams.  Below you will find an extensive review of Christl Arena, including Section, Row, and Seat numbers, chair-back vs bleacher seating, concessions, and parking information.

Christl Arena Seating Chart

Important note:  Christl Arena is general admission for non-premium games, where fans can choose their seat on a first-come-first-serve basis.  For a game like Army vs Navy, tickets will be sold for assigned sections, as shown by the seating map above.  There are some important things to know about the seating at Christl Arena to make sure you have the seats that you want.

Assigned Cadet Sections

The sections behind each baseline in Sections 7, 8, 15, and 16 are reserved for West Point Cadets only.  You will not be allowed to purchase these seats from the ticket office without being enrolled in the Military Academy, and if you happen to secure a ticket for one of these sections through the secondary marketplace, you will not be granted entry into these sections.

Chair-backs vs Bleachers

Christl Arena has a mix of chair-back seating and bleacher seating, and it can get rather complicated in certain sections:

Sections 1, 6, 7, 8, 15, and 16 are all bleacher seats.

Sections 2-5 and 10-13 have chair-backs from Row A to Row U.  Row V to GG are bleacher seats.

Section 9 is a hybrid section.  Seats 10-15 are chair-back seats up until Row U, while seats 1-9 are bleacher seats.  Row V to GG are bleacher seats regardless of seat number.

Section 14 is the hybrid section on the opposite side.  Seats 1-7 are chair-back seats up until Row U, while seats 8-16 are bleacher seats.  Row V to GG are bleacher seats regardless of seat number.

 Sections, Rows, and Seat Numbers

Sections 2-5 and 10-13 go from Row A to Z, and then Row AA to GG.

Sections 1 and 6 go from Row I to Z, and then Row AA to GG

Section 9 and 14 go from Row K to Z, and then Row AA to GG

Sections 7, 8, 15, and 16 go from Row A to I

Seat 1 of each section will always be adjacent to the lower section number.  For example, Section 3, Row U, Seat 1, will be on the aisle splitting Sections 2 and 3.

Courtside and Benches

There is one row of courtside seats in front of sections 2-5 which is not accessible to the average fan.  These seats are reserved for those who donate to Army Athletics through “A Club.”

The Army Black Knights bench is in front of Section 10 and 11, while the visiting bench is in front of Sections 12 and 13.  Between the benches at center court is the scoring and media table

Concessions

Concessions are available on the 2nd level of Christl Arena behind Sections 2-5 and 10-13.  They are operated by the Directorate of Cadet Activities, which handles catering for all events at West Point.  Chicken fingers, hot dogs, popcorn, Dippin Dots, candy, and Coca-Cola beverages are the common concession items available at Christl Arena.  TickPick recommends the chicken fingers as the best value.

Parking at Christl Arena

Lot A is the normal parking lot for events at Christl Arena (which is located inside the Holleder Center) but will quickly fill up before a high-demand game like Army vs Navy.  As Lot A reaches capacity, fans will be directed into Lot AA and Lot C.  Parking is free and Holleder Center is a short walk downhill from the lots.  If you require handicap parking, notify a member of the parking staff upon your arrival and you will be directed to a handicap spot much closer to the Holleder Center.
