Hear Greta Van Fleet’s New Song “When the Curtain Falls”
The Michigan rock band Greta Van Fleet, rising in fame, released a new song, coincidentally at the beginning of their U.S Summer Tour. “When the Curtain Falls” is the first new music from Greta Van Fleet since 2017’s From the Fires, and presumably the first of their highly anticipated, full-length debut. Check out the sultry, guitar riff driven blues rock offering from the bold and fashionable Greta Van Fleet below.
Greta Van Fleet often draw comparisons to Led Zeppelin, who’s clearly influenced their 70’s rock sound and lead singer Josh Kizska’s edgy, shrieking vocals. He howls over his brothers’—guitarist Jake Kizska and bassist Sam Kiszka—swaggering, bluesy melodies and drummer Danny Wagner’s frantic, punctuating fills.
“Rock & roll to us is liberation. A reminder that we as human beings have a voice,” Josh Kizka said in an interview with Rolling Stone. “But I don’t want people to hear me talking about rock & roll and think I mean the kind of shit they’re putting out now.”
Greta Van Fleet are currently touring North America, and are scheduled to take Europe in the Fall. The band has been found recording their debut, full-length album in Detroit and Nashville. Check out our inventory of Greta Van Fleet Tickets, as they continue to tour through mid-October.
