Seating Options at Lyceum Theatre
The seating options at the Lyceum Theatre are broken down by Orchestra, Mezzanine, and Balcony seating. The Lyceum is a small, intimate, and at times tight-fitting venue, which has both its draws and setbacks.
The Orchestra seats, especially in the Center, are some of the best you can buy at the Lyceum Theatre. The stage is set really high, which means viewers in the front row may have a hard time seeing the action on the stage.
The Mezzanine seats are also divided by Left, Right, and Center. The Balcony overhang begins at Row C, so fans behind this may experience a cut-off at the top of the stage. The space between rows is very tight, so the best options for more legroom are inside aisle seats. Patrons should note: sitting in double-digit seats in the Mezzanine will likely result in a restricted view of the stage.
The Balcony section is the smallest seating area in the Lyceum Theatre. Located up four flights of stairs from the ground-floor Orchestra, the Balcony is also the section furthest from the stage and ticket prices will reflect this. Those looking for affordable tickets should look at Left Balcony, single-digit seats, in rows B and C, which offer relatively clear views for a budget-friendly price.

Best Seats at the Lyceum Theatre
The Lyceum Theatre is an intimate, tight-fitting venue. There are several good options for seating at the Lyceum Theatre, but some seats are, by far, better than others.
Looking to splurge on Oh, Mary! tickets? The best seats at the Lyceum Theatre will be located in the Orchestra. But beware, some of the obstructed seats are in the Orchestra as well! The Center Orchestra is going to offer some of the best sight lines, unlike the Left and Right Orchestra, because every seat faces virtually head-on. Some patrons find the front row, AA, to be too far below the stage for comfort. We suggest buying a few rows back to avoid neck strain.
In the Right Orchestra, views are best a couple of rows back and towards the inside (such as seats C2 or E6). There, you won’t be so close to the stage to where you’ll have to look up, nor is it so far back views are impeded by patrons in front.
Left Orchestra, front and inside the section, offer some incredible views of the stage. Sitting a couple of rows back is a great choice and you won’t lose intimacy or detail. Avoid sitting too far off the middle, such as D15 or E17, as you may lose action on the left-hand side of the stage because of the angle.
Oh Mary! Ticket Lottery
Oh, Mary! Rush tickets are dispersed through an online lottery you can sign-up for here. The Daily Drawing will be for $47 tickets and will take place one day before the performance. Winners must return to the website to complete their purchase.
There is, additionally, an in-person day-of rush for Oh, Mary! tickets located at the Lyceum Theater Box Office (149 W 45th St). Each ticket will be priced at $43 and the maximum number of tickets you can purchase is (2).
Obstructed Seats at Lyceum Theatre
According to recent reviews of Oh, Mary! at the Lyceum Theatre, there are a few spots inside the venue you may way to avoid for their obstructed views. The Balcony overhang begins at Row C of the Mezzanine, so patrons beyond this may experience a cut-off of the stage. The Mezzanine overhang begins at Row L, so seats behind this may find some obstruction.
Balcony L and Balcony R (in the first two rows) will have a partial view because of the railing. But sitting further back in the Balcony sections is a gamble, as well, with the people ahead of you leaning forward to see over the railing.
Far Left Orchestra, the closer to the stage, will be obstructed views as well but viewers say this is only a problem for the first 10 minutes of the show. Orchestra Row G, where many of the Rush Tickets are sold, will not have great views of the Green Couch scenes but are otherwise great tickets for the price of $47.
