New Kids on the BlockTickets
ft. TLC & Nelly
Starting on Sunday, June 21, 2015
The all-American boy band hailing from the pre-boybands era, New Kids on the Block are one of the world’s best-selling musical groups of all time. After disbanding in 1994, they secretly reunited in 2007, before releasing a new album in 2008. After receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the group announced ther tour with rap star Nelly and all-female R&B group TLC. Fans who have seen NKOB perform with TLC and Nelly say all of these artists can still put on an amazing show. Also, there is nothing quite like being suddenly reminded of one of your favorite songs from your childhood.
Bette MidlerTickets
The Divine Miss M
Starting on Thursday, June 25, 2015
Bette Midler’s first tour in more than a decade was guaranteed to have fans jumping up and down as soon as it was announced. To support her latest album, It’s The Girls!, (her first album since 2006), Bette Midler is heading on a 22-date tour across the United States. How is she in concert? Honestly, no one knows anymore because it’s been a decade since she’s last performed, but I’m willing to bet that her performances on her 2015 tour will be more than satisfactory. She’s putting her ‘legendary diva’ status on the line with this new album and tour, and she knows it.
Shania TwainTickets
ft. Gavin DeGraw
Tuesday, June 30, 2015
You know what does impress me much? A Shania Twain concert. The woman exudes so much energy and confidence, it’s impossible not to leave the concert hall with a smile on your face. Be warned: Shania Twain has announced that this is her final tour, so if you’re a fan (and if you’ve listened to the radio at all in the last few decades, you are), this may be your last chance to see her live. Don’t miss out.
J. ColeTickets
ft. Big Sean, YG, & Jeremih
Tuesday, August 4, 2015
J. Cole’s newest album, 2014 Forest Hills Dive, just went platinum, and was Spotify’s most-streamed album for the first two weeks after its release. In a world where people aren’t buying albums anymore and move on to the next thing faster than a southerner in a buffet line, those accolades are seriously impressive. His upcoming 2014 Forest Hills Drive Tour (which is confusingly happening in 2015) was predicted by our in-house J. Cole fanatic and Director of Customer Relations, Jack Slingland. J. Cole is guaranteed to put on quite a show at MSG this summer, where during his performance at the venue last year, hip hop superstar and mentor to J. Cole, Jay-Z came out and surprised the audience be performing several songs by Cole.
Eric ClaptonTickets
70th Birthday Celbration
Starting on Friday, May 1, 2015
What can really be said about Eric Clapton that hasn’t been said already? If you live on this planet and haven’t at least heard of Eric Clapton, you’ve been living in a cave. The only three-time inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, has received an Order of the British Empire from the Queen, and is considered by many to be the most influential guitarist of all time. Playing bluesy-psychedelic rock, fans who have seen his shows say that he tends to ‘let his guitar do the talking’ in ways that prove he is truly one of the greatest guitarists that have ever lived.
U2Tickets
Bono is bringing it back!
Starting on Saturday, July 18, 2015
With their charistmatic frontman, the philanthropic Bono still leading the way, U2’s Innocene & Experience Tour is coming to Madison Square Garden for eight nights at the end of July. With U2 tickets known to go fast, tickets for U2’s upcoming shows at MSG are on the pricier side. However, U2 has reconfigured the venue to give just about everyone a great view, no matter where you’re sitting!
Death Cab for CutieTickets
ft. Explosions in the Sky
Saturday, September 12, 2015
This alternative rock band from the West Coast is teaming up with rock band Explosions in the Sky to perform at MSG as part of their as of yet unnamed tour. Despite their new lineup (lead guitarist and songwriter Chris Walla recently left the band), fans are still raving about their live performances (and taking a collective deep breath now that the band’s future is more certain).
MadonnaTickets
Th Queen of Pop is back.
Starting on Wednesday, September 16, 2015
First of all, if you haven’t seen Madonna’s perfomance at the 2015 Brit Awards, stop what you’re doing and watch it now (see the first video below). At 56 years old, the queen of pop shows no signs of slowing down, with a recently released new album, and a worldwide tour underway, but are her concerts as good as they were in the 90s? Fans seem to think so, with one fan raving that “MADONNA IS INDESTRUCTIBLE” and another commented that Madonna’s shows perfectly represent Madonna’s split personality, constantly wavering between naugthy (using fake assault rifles while dirty dancing on stage) and the nice (a beautiful acapella rendition of Like A Prayer).
Ricky MartinTickets
Livin’ La Vida Loca!
Thursday, October 8, 2015
Where did Ricky Marin go and when did he get back? After hosting both the Mexican and Australian version of The Voice, Martin released the hit singles Vida and Adrenalina. Even after so much time since his first hit, the man is still topping the charts. Fans who have seen him in concert says that his energy on stage is unbelievable and his singing in just as great as ever, regardless if he’s performing in English or his native Spanish.
The WhoTickets
The What, The When, and The Why will tour later this year
Wednesday, October 21, 2015
In what could possibly be their last tour ever, The Who are embarking on what they’re calling their ’50th anniversary jaunt’. If you’ve been a fan of The Who, you can’t miss out on what could be your last chance to see them play live. Enough said.

Past Concerts at MSG
Miranda LambertTickets
with Justin Moore and Ashley Monroe
Saturday, March 28, 2015
Country’s reigning female vocalist of the year is making the rouds for her 2015 Certified Platinum Tour. In a world where country artists are fusing their music with pop, rock, and hip hop and increasingly leaving country behind entirely (see Taylor Swift), Miranda’s ability to weave her organic-sounding country twang, with a badass, rock & roll energy that shakes the house from the front to the back is astounding. Fans who have already seen the Miranda Lambert perform this year say her back-ups Justin Moore and Ashley Monroe are amazing as well.
Alt-JTickets
That other English indie rock band
Monday, March 30, 2015
Alt-j, a British rock band from Leeds, England formed in early 2007, but didn’t release their first album until late 2012. In an era of manufactured hits and instant celebrities, the fact that they took 5 years to hone their craft and sculpt their first album automatically earns them my respect. Moreover, the hard work and extra preparation time seems to have paid off. Their most recent album, This Is All Yours, jumped straight up the charts to #1 in the UK. Mixing folk rock, electronic, and indie rock, fans of the band like to say that Alt-J’s sound is hard to describe, yet is also instantly familiar. Their shows are known for their elaborate light shows, which heavily incorporate the use of fog and smoke machines.
