Oklahoma Memorial Stadium Seat Breakdown

All seat numbers in Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium follow a similar pattern where the lowest-numbered seat would be located on the right side of each section next to the lower-numbered section, so as you face the field from your seat, the lower-numbered seats will be the ones to your right.  Seat 1 in section 105 would be next to the highest-numbered seat at the end of section 104. This is a common seat order for stadiums.

Okalhoma Sooners Student Section

The Oklahoma Sooners student sections are located in the east stands, surrounding the 350-member Pride of Oklahoma band which sits in section 29, between the 20 and 35 yard lines.

Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium Club Seats

The Sooner Club, or the East Stadium Club, spans along the east side of the stadium in sections 124-135. The MidFirst Bank Stadium Club gives fans an elevated view of the field and a sideline chair-back seat. This sections is considered the best view and best game day experience.

There are also loge boxes, the Santee Lounge, and South Champions Club.

Visiting Team Fan Sections

If you’re rooting for the visiting team, you’ll find fellow opponent fans in the back of sections 226-228 and 233-235 in the Upper Deck on the East sideline. In the lower level, the back few rows of sections 19-22 are usually reserved for visiting fans, as well.

The visiting team sideline is located in front of sections 29 through 32.

Best Seats at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium

The best seats are at Memorial Stadium for a Sooners game are in sections 127-130 which offer club level amenities, a 50 yard line view, and chair-back seating. However, sections 104-106 offer views near midfield, chair-back seating, and shade in the afternoon.

Tailgating at Oklahoma Sooners Games

There are two main tailgating areas for OK Sooners football games.

Campus Corner

Four blocks north of Owen Field on Boyd Street and Asp Avenue, Campus Corner is a favorite spot for fans. There are beer tents, vendors, and thousands of fans.

SooneRVillage

This tailgating spot is dedicated mostly to OU’s RV tailgating. The SooneRVillage is located in the parking lot at the southeast corner of Lloyd Noble Center.

Tailgating Rules

Tailgating at Oklahoma Sooners games is fairly organized and restricted compared to other schools. Find more specific rules below:

• Tent and awning set-up is allowed beginning at noon on Fridays
• Tents must be more than 10 feet away from university buildings
• Permits are required for tents larger than 400 square feet
• Open flames are prohibited
• Gas and charcoal grills must be covered

Accessible Seating at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium

If you’re seeking ADA seating, according to the official site, “A wheelchair user and companion will be permitted, subject to availability, to exchange tickets that they have purchased for accessible and companion seats in a manner that affords them reasonable accommodation and accessibility. Patrons who do not require wheelchair accessible seating but require other special accommodations may also exchange tickets for alternative locations that better accommodate their needs.”
