Who’s Performing Red Rocks, The Best Venue in the U.S

April 3, 2025 by

Those who’ve entered the sacred space of Red Rocks Amphitheater already knew this to be true, but in 2019 Pollstar made it official: The Best Outdoor Concert Venue in America is in Morrison, CO, just 10 miles west of Denver. Red Rocks Amphitheater is nestled in a rock structure that airs divinity. The grounds are, without question, holy.

Red Rocks has its fair share of competition for best outdoor concert venue in the U.S. Hollywood Bowl, Forest Hills Stadium, Greek Theatre, Ascend Amphitheater, Gorge Amphitheater and Merriweather Post Pavillion, just to name a few. But the fans who’ve been to them all likely have resounding agreement: There is no place quite like Red Rocks.

The landscape, the views, and atmosphere all contribute to the greatness of Red Rocks Amphitheater. If an artist you love is performing at Red Rocks, don’t miss it. Even if you live across the country, even if it falls on your mother’s birthday. You don’t miss it. You buy a plane ticket. You plan. You invite mom.

Who’s Performing at Red Rocks Amphitheater in 2025? and so many more. The 2025 Red Rocks concert season is one fans can’t miss. Don’t sleep on your opportunity to attend a Red Rocks concert this year.

The Best of Red Rocks 2025 Concert Season

Tina Fey & Amy Poehler

The comedy double is making a comeback, this time in the form of longtime collaborators, and friends, Tina Fey & Amy Poehler. This year, the pair will embark on the “Restless Leg” Tour, which includes a stop at Red Rocks. The “Restless Leg” Tour will arrive in Morrison, CO on May 1.

Perhaps most famous for their shared tenure as “Weekend Update” co-hosts, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s working relationship is perfectly suited for the comedy stage. Fans can expect a variety show of individual improv, a reboot of “Weekend Update” with a surprise special guest, and more. Who knows when this do is going to tour together again? Fans, you don’t want to miss this upcoming stand-up comedy tour.

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit

Right after the conclusion of Jason Isbell’s solo tour, he will be taking off again with The 400 Unit to perform a number of stadium and amphitheater shows this spring and summer. Their last album was 2023’s Weathervanes, one of the best albums to come out that year.

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will arrive at Red Rocks on May 3, for one night only. For this stop, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will be joined by special guests Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway.

Sting

Not only will Sting be performing at Red Rocks this summer, he is using the historic venue to kick off this upcoming leg of the “Sting 3.0” Tour. Having returned to the power trio method of performance, Sting’s recent shows have garnered a lot of praise. We are eager to hear what the former Police frontman has for this new tour.

Sting will perform Red Rocks May 19, 20, & 22. Fans, we highly suggest catching Sting on tour with new band members guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas. This iteration of Sting is not to be missed.

Leon Bridges

Blues, rock, and R&B singer Leon Bridges is joining forces with fellow Texas-native Charley Crockett for the “Crooner & the Cowboy Tour.” The joint tour will have the pair performing Red Rocks on May 23 with special guest LA LOM serving as the opener.

The most recent Leon Bridges album, last year’s Leon, was a soulful 70’s inspired swim. We anticipate a mix of all of Leon Bridges’ records represented in his upcoming setlists. Charley Crockett’s new LP Lonesome Drifter arrived March 14, 2025, which means fans will be hearing a lot of this album during Crockett’s set.

Justice

Grammy-winning electronic group Justice, touring in support of their 2024 LP Hyperdrama, will be touching down in Morrison on May 25. The French duo has been performing all over the globe recently. According to recent reviews, fans are in for something incredibly special once Justice comes to the U.S.

Rolling Stone UK called their live set a “pulverising audio-visual spectacular that deserves to go down in history.” We can’t think of a better place to witness this set than Red Rocks Amphitheater. Truly, it’s one of the best venues to experience EDM. Go, see for yourself.

Pierce The Veil

Clearly, the rock gods (and tour promoters) have been listening to fans who’ve been demanding more Pierce The Veil concerts. Now, the emo-rockers have announced even more shows for their mammoth “I Can’t Hear You” Tour. The 43-date run will stop at Red Rocks on June 19. The band will be joined by special guests Sleeping with Sirens and Beach Weather.

The landscape of emo-rock has certainly looked a bit different lately. With the arrival of the nostalgic, emo-rock driven music festival “When We Were Young,” and the return of bands such as Blink-182 and My Chemical Romance, the genre is clearly having a moment. We are especially grateful to see Pierce The Veil is relishing in it, too.

Pierce the Veil Tickets

Halsey

The fifth headlining tour from Halsey will arrive at Red Rocks Amphitheater on June 22. Joining her for this stop along her “For My Last Trick” tour will be Magdalena Bay and flowerolove.

Halsey’s last album, 2024’s The Last Impersonator, contained the chart-ranking singles “Lucky” and “Lonely Is The Muse.” We can’t wait to hear these, and others, live at Red Rocks this summer.

Halsey Tickets

Widespread Panic

The return of rock band Widespread Panic has been highly anticipated since a band member’s health scare and the cancellation of their 2024 shows. With such a dedicated fanbase, the consternation over their return was palpable. Thankfully, the blues-jam vets have recovered and are back more triumphant than ever.

We can’t wait for Widespread Panic to host their epic 3-night stay at Red Rocks this summer. Fans can catch them there June 27-29. Don’t sleep on purchasing your tickets. They are going fast.

Zeds Dead

Canadian electronic music duo Zeds Dead will bring their “Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness” Tour to Red Rocks for two nights this summer. Zeds Dead will be conducting insane DJ sets, featuring their latest LP Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness, July 2-3.

The duo’s return to Red Rocks is made more special by the fact they teased this album while performing the venue last year. Now, fans have the opportunity to close the circle and hear the promise fulfilled by what will certainly be one of the best EDM tours of the year.

The Avett Brothers

This summer, The Avett Brothers will perform three nights (July 11-13) at Red Rocks. It’s an inspired time for The Avett Brothers, who, last year, collaborated with Broadway musical creator John Logan on a production which integrated their music into a story about brotherhood and shipwreck. The musical has since left Broadway, but you can preorder the cast recording of Swept Away now.

The Avett Brothers have performed a number of iconic shows at Red Rocks. Last year, the group put forth their first-ever self-titled which brought us the raucous single “Love Of A girl.” We can’t wait to hear what The Avett Brothers will bring to the hallowed grounds this summer.

Alabama Shakes

It’s been ten years since the release of the last Alabama Shakes album, Sound & Color, and eight years since the band’s last show. Now, Brittany Howard, Heath Fogg, and Zac Cockrell have reunited for a North American Tour. Of course, no Alabama Shakes reunion tour would be complete without a stop at the nation’s most beloved amphitheater. The Alabama Shakes are scheduled to touch down in Morrison on Jul. 20.

According to the original press release, the Alabama Shakes have been recording new music together as well. We are hopeful fans will hear some live debuts of new Alabama Shakes music on their upcoming tour. You really don’t want to miss this one.

Gracie Abrams

The Grammy-nominated singer Gracie Abrams has just released a live version of her fan-favorite ballad “Death Wish” from its live debut at the O2 Arena. If this recording is any indicator of what fans are hearing from Abrams on her “Secret Of Us” Tour, you’re not going to want to miss your chance to see her when she comes to the U.S.

In the time before her “Secret Of Us” Tour took off, Gracie Abrams received the 2025 Billboard Women In Music award for “Songwriter of the Year,” thanking Taylor Swift for her mentorship. This is, undoubtedly, the biggest moment in Gracie Abrams career so far. Fans of hers have to join her and celebrate on the “Secret Of Us” Tour, coming to Red Rocks on Aug. 11-12.
