Here’s the tricky part: wait too long and there will be no tickets left (or those that are left will be overpriced), or if you don’t stay long enough, then the prices will be the same as they were three months ago. The best time to buy Book of Mormon discounted tickets is 5 to 10 days in advance of the show.
Here’s where personality comes into play: I’d rather buy my tickets on the earlier side (that’s because whichever way I choose, it’s always the opposite). Five days before the show, you may see 100 tickets left and think, ‘Prices have to go down; the seller doesn’t want to waste those tickets.’ Unfortunately, in this case, you would be wrong.
