It's hard to imagine Glen Hansard as a busker, occupying the streets of Ireland as a solo singer/guitarist. But that's exactly how he got his start, a humble beginning which later served as the premise to his first film, which he starred in, wrote, directed, and composed the music for. Though Hansard doesn't consider himself a master or a person who seeks to be one, he has certainly dipped his toes into every art, including musical theater, in which he composed the score for the hit musical "Once". Now, Glen Hansard continues his career as a solo musician, taking stages all around the world with his intimate, perfectly composed acoustic sound.
