Julianna Hurtado

Julianna Hurtado is from Dallas, Texas. She grew up rooting for the Texas Rangers and the Mavericks. Now, she also roots for the Baltimore Orioles, her new home team, as well as the New York Knicks. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Individualized Study from the Gallatin School at New York University, where she studied creative writing and psychology. While still acquiring her Bachelor's at NYU, she began working as a content creator for TickPick, covering music news, concert tours, concert reviews, and more. She continued her education at Hunter College, where she was a Fiction candidate in the creative writing M.F.A. Since graduation, alongside working on two novels, she has committed to writing content for the TickPick Blog. She enjoys writing about theater, Latin music, and when her favorite artists (Kendrick Lamar, Vampire Weekend, Adrienne Lenker) go on tour. Her favorite concert experience was Jack White at Pier 17 in Baltimore, right after attending the Orioles game just across from the Inner Harbor.
