Which NBA Teams Are Allowing Fans in 2021?

The upcoming 2020-21 NBA season will look quite a bit different than the one before it, at least at the beginning. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the league was forced to play in an NBA bubble at Walt Disney World in Orlando for the end of its regular season and entirety of the 2020 playoffs. […]

The league schedule (but not exact dates) for each team is usually predetermined, but for the shortened 72-game 2020-2021 season, this isn’t necessarily the case. An example of specific game dates that can be leaked by the league ahead of […]

Will the Orlando Magic Allow Fans to Attend Games During the 2021 Season?

While Amway Center will not be allowing fans at a standard full capacity to begin the 2021 NBA season, this team will be allowing 4,000 total fans to attend games. Fans will only be allowed to sit with those they came with, and they will be safely seated within "Pods." Pods are groups of 1-to-8 fans that are allowed to sit together at a safe distance from all other pods. The number of fans allowed to attend games is likely to increase as the season goes along.

Who is on the Orlando Magic Roster in 2021?

The Magic roster looks mostly the same as it did during last year's playoff team, though they did add promising point guard Cole Anthony from North Carolina with their first round pick in the draft. They return leaders like Nikola Vucevic, Aaron Gordon, and Evan Fournier and hope that former top pick Mo Bamba can take a step forward and become the talented presence down low that they had envisioned when they took him with their fifth overall pick back in 2018. The continued development of former number one overall pick Markelle Fultz at point guard would truly be what this team needs to establish itself as not just a fringe playoff team, but a contender to play deep into the postseason in 2021.

Who is the Head Coach of the Orlando Magic for the 2021 Season?

The head coach of the Magic is Steve Clifford, who will be in his third year at the helm in 2021. The former Charlotte Bobcats and Hornets head coach has guided the Magic to the playoffs in each of his first two seasons on the job, which already gives him a great track record when compared to many of his predecessors. We expect Clifford to do another good job with this younger team in 2021.

Magic Hope to Break Through in 2021 Playoffs

The Magic had seemingly been in a perpetual state of rebuilding until they hired head coach Steve Clifford in 2018 and finally broke through with a playoff berth that they repeated this past summer. Franchise center and mainstay Nikola Vucevic should help lead the way for the franchise in this 2021 season, but if they want to be considered anything more than a fringe playoff contender in the Eastern Conference, they're going to need some early contributions from first round pick Cole Anthony, as well as other veterans like Aaron Gordon and Markelle Fultz. We could see the Magic making another playoff appearance, but they need more young talent to make it out of the first round.

Biggest Orlando Magic Matchups of 2021

The Magic have some big early season games against the talented Celtics on a back-to-back on January 13th and 15th that should really test some of the younger players on this Orlando squad. January 11th's game against the dominant Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo should give a pretty clear view of how Vucevic and company will be able to stack up against the conference's best competition.
