In the 1990s, Elway and head coach Mike Shanahan led the Broncos to back-to-back Super Bowl wins: Super Bowl XXXII (31-24 over the Green Bay Packers) and Super Bowl XXXIII (34-19 over the Atlanta Falcons). More recently, Peyton Manning led Denver to two Super Bowls. The Broncos lost Super Bowl XLVIII 43-8 to the Seattle Seahawks, but defeated the Carolina Panthers 24-10 in Super Bowl 50.
