The Dallas Stars Bench is located in front of section 119, and the visitors bench is located in front of section 118. The Stars shoot twice on the net in front of section 112-113, and the penalty box is located between sections 106-107. The Dallas Mavericks bench is located in front of section 117-118, and the visitors bench is located in front of sections 119-120.

The American Airlines Center is located in downtown Dallas at 2500 Victory Road. The American Airlines Center opened in 2001, and is home of the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA, and the Dallas Stars of the NHL. The arena has a capacity of 19,200 (21,146 SRO) for basketball, 18,532 (19,099 SRO) for hockey, and holds 21,000 for concerts.

The best seats for a Dallas Mavericks games are located in sections 105-108 and 117-120. For any basketball game, you want to sit as close to center court as possible, so sections 118-119 and 106-107 will give you best the view of Dirk Nowitzki and company.  If you are sitting on the outside sections in the lower level, you are going to want seats that are closer to the center sections as well.

The Platinum Club Seating for Maverick and Stars games are located in the 200 level (201-225). Amenities include padded seats, and access to several exclusive areas such as The Lounge, El Jimador Tequila Bar, and the alcohol-free Dr. Pepper Bottling Plant.

American Airlines Center follows the standard sports arena pattern in that the lowest seat number in a given section will be closest to the adjacent lower section. The same rule applies for the 100s, 200s, and 300s sections. For example, seat 1 in Section 106 would be closest to the highest seat number in section 105 (seat 18), or the highest seat number in Section 106 (seat 18) would be closest to seat number 1 in section 107. The lower level sideline sections have 18 seats per row, and there are between 15 and 19 seats per row in the upper level sideline sections. The corner and goaline sections in both levels have seat numbers that vary depending on the width of the section.
