Ohio Stadium, also known as The Horseshoe or The Shoe because of its shape, is the home of the Ohio State Buckeyes football team. Ohio Stadium does not have permanent lights, so for the very view night occur temporary lights are brought in. The capacity of Ohio Stadium is 102,329, making it the fourth largest football stadium in the United States, and the largest in Ohio.
The Ohio State Student Sections at Ohio Stadium are located in sections 31-39 (All South Endzone Sections) and in sections 1-7 in levels A and C. "Block O" which was established in 1938, is the official spirit organization of the Ohio State University. Block O South is located in section 39A and Block O North is located in section 1A and 2A of Ohio Stadium.
The seat numbers at Ohio Stadium follow a very simple pattern. Seat number 1 will always be closest to lower numbered section adjacent to it. For example seat 1 in section 9A will be closest to section 7A, and the highest seat number in section 9A will be closest to section 11A.
Ohio Stadium Club Seating is found in sections C1-C5, and these five sections are split between 'Platinum' C2-C4 (closest to 50 yard line) and 'Gold' C1 and C5. These club seats are extra wide and have chair backs, and provided access to club lounges and upscale food and beverage.
The best seats for a Ohio State Game are in the aforementioned club seats, or the AA sections closest to midfield. If you are looking to avoid the elements, the B deck tickets along the sideline are a fantastic option as well, especially since those seats have chair backs.
The Ohio State bench is located in front of the Club Sections, and visitors bench is located in front of sections 20AA and 22AA.
The B Deck at Ohio Stadium is covered by an overhang (except for the end zone B sections), protecting ticket holders from the elements like precipitation and the sun. Seats in the B deck also have chair backs, making these seats much more comfortable than the standard bleacher seating that is used throughout the rest of the stadium. It is important to note that because this level is covered, support pillars can cause small obstructions to the view of the field.
Sellers must disclose all information that is listed on their tickets. For example, obstructed view seats at Ohio Stadium would be listed for the buyer to consider (or review) prior to purchase.
