All the seats in sections 205-211 will be in the shade at first pitch, but those are the only seats that will enjoy coverage at that time. Salt River Fields lawn seating stretches the entire outfield, fitting up to 4,000 fans. Because of the high number of tickets available in this area, they are some of the cheapest lawn seating for any Cactus league ballpark. However we would advise showing up a bit earlier than normal to ensure a favorable location in the lawn area.
Normally there are a few areas to avoid at a ballpark, but not at Salt River Fields. Even the pickiest of fans would be hard pressed to find a bad seat in the house. We suppose that if you don't want to be in the sun, you could argue that seats in sections 101 and 123 would be ones to avoid.
