The field is aptly named at Mile High, as the stadium sits approximately one mile above sea level, give the Denver Broncos an added home field advantage. Sports Authority Field at Mile High has been sold out since opening day in 2001, carrying the streak from the previous stadium (Mile High Stadium) that began in 1970. Sports Authority Field at Mile High has a capacity of 76,125 for Broncos games, and up to 50,000 for concerts.
Seat Numbers
For any Denver Broncos Game at Sports Authority Field, seat 1 is always located closer to the adjacent section with the lower number. For example, seat 1 in section 124 is on the aisle next to section 123, while seat 29 in section 124 will be on the aisle next to section 125. Also, in the 100s sections, these sections are split into two different groups, row 1 to 20 are in the lower portion of the section, which is called lower prime. Row 24 is the first row in the next part of the 100s section, this is called ‘lower sideline’. Truth be told row 24 to 30 is equally as good as row 20, the only downfall to row 24 is that you can have some people walk in front of you. But the design of the Broncos stadium configuration makes entries & exits logical for people to come in and out of their seats without obstructed other fans view.
