The student sections at Rupp Arena are known as the eRUPPtion Zone, which is located in sections 38-41. This area of Rupp Arena is general admission, so quality of seats is determined on a first-come, first-served basis on game day. Students can sell their tickets to Kentucky Wildcats basketball games; however, it must be to another student, as the eRUPPtion Zone requires a University of Kentucky student ID to gain entry.

The Rupp Arena seat numbers follow the standard arena pattern where seat number one will be closest to the lower numbered section adjacent to it. So for example, seat 1 in section 34 will be on the aisle next to section 33. The number of seats per section vary, except for sections 12-16 and 29-33, which have 14 seats per row.

The Wildcats' bench is located in front of sections 32-33, and the visitor's bench is located in front of sections 29-30.

The best seats at Rupp Arena for Kentucky basketball are located in sections 13-15 and 30-32. These are the sections closest to midcourt, which is the ideal location for viewing any basketball game. Those tickets are expensive, so if you are looking for a good value, the 200 level section along the sidelines are more fairly-priced and still offer good sightlines. It is also important to consider that the seats in the lower bowl have seat backs, but the 200 level is bleacher seating.
