Which NBA Teams Are Allowing Fans in 2021?

The upcoming 2020-21 NBA season will look quite a bit different than the one before it, at least at the beginning. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the league was forced to play in an NBA bubble at Walt Disney World in Orlando for the end of its regular season and entirety of the 2020 playoffs. […]

When Do NBA Tickets Go On Sale? NBA Schedule 2020-21 Tickets

The NBA usually announces the full schedule for the 2020-21 regular season sometime in mid-August. The league schedule (but not exact dates) for each team is usually predetermined, but for the shortened 72-game 2020-2021 season, this isn’t necessarily the case. An example of specific game dates that can be leaked by the league ahead of […]

Will the Houston Rockets Allow Fans to Attend Games During the 2021 Season?

While Toyota Center will not be allowing fans at a standard full capacity to begin the 2021 NBA season, this team will be allowing 3,000 total fans to attend games. Fans will only be allowed to sit with those they came with, and they will be safely seated within "Pods." Pods are groups of 1-to-8 fans that are allowed to sit together at a safe distance from all other pods. The number of fans allowed to attend games is likely to increase as the season goes along.

Who is on the Houston Rockets Roster in 2021?

The Rockets roster has a bit of a different look to it this season after trading away franchise superstar guard James Harden to Brooklyn in a blockbuster deal that netted them former Pacers All-Star guard Victor Oladipo after just a few games into the year. Another trade that sent away All-Star Russell Westbrook to Washington for fellow All-Star John Wall gives the team an entirely new backcourt look. Rising center Christian Wood looks promising and like a key piece for the team's future, and Eric Gordon and DeMarcus Cousins should provide additional solid veteran play for the team this year. They may not quite have the ceiling of Houston teams of recent years, but these new-look Rockets should still be a playoff team in 2021.

Who is the Head Coach of the Houston Rockets for the 2021 Season?

The head coach for the Rockets is former longtime NBA assistant Stephen Silas, who will be in his first year as the top dog. He has the tough task of guiding the team after the James Harden saga, so expectations may be a little lower from the get-go during this new era in Houston. He's a highly respected coach in his own right, so we have some faith that this could be a playoff team once again in H-Town.

New-Look Rockets Hope to Make it Back to the Playoffs in 2021

The Rockets will have a new look to them in 2021 after swapping guard Russell Westbrook for Washington's John Wall. Superstar former MVP James Harden is disgruntled and may not make it through the season in Houston if he has it his way, but a backcourt of Eric Gordon and Wall should still be able to put up buckets with the best of the West this season. While this isn't the juggernaut team of the last few years, we do still expect them to make a run for the playoffs in Houston, but perhaps not a deep one.

Biggest 2021 Matchups for the Houston Rockets

The Rockets have a big back-to-back with the defending champion Lakers and LeBron James on January 10th and 12th, which should test this Houston team early on and show the rest of the league how much resolve they have. Big games against their in-state rival Dallas and Luka Doncic will be on January 4th, January 23rd, and February 19th.
