Seats in Shade
If you are looking to sit in the shade for a Chicago White Sox game at US Cellular Field, you should stick to seats on the first base side of the stadium. Due to the design of US Cellular Field, there is little to no hangover from the sections above, so sitting in the final rows in the lower level sections won't necessarily protect you from the sun. The last few rows in the upper deck will fall under an overhang, which will protect you from the sun, but the view of the game won't be very good.
Location
The park is very easy to get to, located immediately off the Dan Ryan Expressway. If you’re taking the train, it’s a half a block at most from the Red Line. There are stellar parking attendants working like crazy to get you to where you need to be, so no driving around endlessly to find that lost spot.
Dugouts and Bullpens
The Chicago White Sox dugout is located in front of sections 137-143, and the visitors dugout is located in front of sections 121-127. The Chicago White Sox bullpen is located in front of sections 156-158, and the visitors bullpen is located in front of sections 104-105.
Upper Deck
Most of the seating on the Upper Deck is pretty restrictive. Once seated there, you will not be allowed on the lower concourse. The most affordable seats in the house are located on the Upper Deck and don’t offer as good a view as one might have while seated on the lower levels. The upper deck is also much farther off the field than most other stadiums, and fans have complained that it is sloped to steep, so if you have a fear of heights this is not the place for you.
