Starlight Theatre Seat Numbers
The seat numbers at Starlight Theatre follow a basic pattern. In any section marked as 2, 4, or 6, seat number "1" is on the left when facing the stage. For any section numbered as 1, 3, 5, and 7, seat number "1" will be on the right when facing the stage. Again, this pattern is the same, regardless if you are in the Terrace, Plaza, Box, Orchestra or Producer Circles sections.
History and Overview
Since opening in the summer of 1951, the Starlight Theatre has been one of the premier outdoor live entertainment venues in the Kansas City Area. A capacity of approximately 8,000 people, the Starlight Theatre is well known for bringing dozens of Broadway shows over the years to the KC area. With decades of history, today the Starlight Theatre is one of just two remaining self-producing outdoor theatres in the United States. The Starlight Theatre began hosting Live Nation concerts and events after partnering with the promoter in 2000. Since the partnership with Live Nation, the Starlight Theatre is frequently visited by some of the biggest names in music.
