J Cole 2014 Forest Hills Drive | Will J Cole Tour in 2015?

J Cole’s highly anticipated new album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, has been leaked dropped on December 9th . You can listen to what will end up being one of the top albums of the year here: J Cole 2014 Forest Hills Drive. After J Cole’s number one album, Born Sinner in 2013, he follows that up with another chart topper. But as live event fanatics and the go to source for No Fee Tickets, we are more excited about J Cole 2014 Forest Hills Drive tour in 2015.

Will J Cole Tour in 2015?

Clearly the answer is yes but the question now is, when? Well here is act 1&2 (act 3 will take place in Europe). To quote J Cole, “This first run is for all the cities that never get no love.. I feel you:

Finally, J Cole will put on for his city on August 29th for his homecoming at the Crown Coliseum:

J Cole 2014 Forest Hills Drive Tour

On Cole’s last tour, “What Dreams May Come”, which promoted Born Sinner, he performed in 37 venues from September 10th to February 1st after adding 10 more shows. He was joined by Wale on his tour, but for his birthday concert at the MSG Theater Kendrick Lamar and mentor Jay Z joined him on stage for an unforgettable performance.

J Cole has also gave his fans an opportunity to see him on the cheap with his “Dollar and Dream” tour this past summer, where fans could literally purchase tickets for $1. This mini tour was a huge hit. The location of the show was released on the day of the event, with massive lines for tickets following shortly after. Bottom line, this guy loves performing live.

The common theme with J. Cole’s touring is the small venue size, as he has stuck to mostly theatre’s and auditoriums. But J Cole is turning into one of the top hip-hop artists in the game right now, so we expect him to be moving up into larger venues on his next tour. If he ends up doing a joint tour with one his boys like Kendrick Lamar, then a large venue tour is essentially guaranteed, along with skyrocketing to the top of our best upcoming Hip Hop Concerts. Stay tuned.

In order to reflect on the past five years and the significance of The Warm Up, Cole posted a letter to fans upon announcing the tour. Since releasing The Warm Up, Cole – who is the first act signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation label – has put out a few more mixtapes and two studio albums. Below are some of the highlights of that letter.

The Warm Up is a declaration of dedication to Greatness. Told from the perspective of a kid who wants more than what his city has to offer him. The crime. The stagnation. He wants more from the girls he dates. He wants out of Muhammad’s house. He refuses to let anyone tell him he can’t dream. That he won’t make it. He believes in himself. He dedicates his life to his craft, because he’s finally realized that the work that you put it today has a direct and absolute impact on the life you live tomorrow.

“I imagine that 5 years ago we all wanted more. The Warm Up was just something that put music and words to what we were feeling. As I write this I’m on a plane from Sydney, Australia back to New York City. Music has taken me around the world now, doing shows in place I never thought I would be. I’m grateful.

“I’m wondering where you are today. … No matter where you were 5 years ago, I hope that today you are closer to your dreams. I know that everything hasn’t gone exactly the way you planned, it hasn’t for me either. But our job isn’t to plan. Our job includes 3 responsibilities. 1. To dream. 2. To believe that dream is attainable. And 3. To work hard every day towards that dream. Let God handle the rest.”

J. Cole Wale Tour Schedule 2013

J. Cole Wale Announce Tour DatesJ. Cole & Wale announced their Dreams May Come Tour schedule for 2013.

The Dreamville MC has recruited MMG wordsmith Wale for his new What Dreams May Come Tour, to support their Born Sinner and The Gifted LPs, respectively. The 27-date tour, which follows J. Cole’s Dollar & A Dream dates earlier this year (meagerly priced at $1), kicks off on Sept. 10 in Miami.

J. Cole’s Born Sinner dropped “same day as Kanye” and his Yeezus album. Cole has not only stolen the thunder from Kayne, but his boss Jay Z as well. There really is little doubt that Cole’s album is lyrically on another level than anything that has been dropped this summer, with MCHG being a bit of a disappointment. From “Crooked Smile” to “Let Nas Down”, J. Cole gives his audience lyrics they can relate to, something that Kanye and Jay Z lack in the later stages of their careers.

Cole and Wale—both under Roc Nation management—have collaborated on past fan favorites like “Bad Girls Club”, “Winter Schemes”, “Beautiful Bliss”, and “Fitted Cap”.

The Born Sinner artist and The Gifted rapper will hit 30 cities including Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, and Las Vegas. Pre sale tickets for J. Cole fan club members will go on sale July 31 and general sales tickets will be available August 2nd for resale at TickPick.com.
